Premium Tube Cutter

If there such a thing as a "Rolls-Royce" of tubing cutters this would have to be it - the Richie Yellow Jacket Premium Cutter.  Can a tube cutter really be THAT much better?  The answer is yes.  If you've ever tried to cut off a tube and had the cutter start "cork screwing" up the length than you know what I mean.  You won't have that problem with this cutter.

Features include exceptionally smooth rolling bearing surfaces and adjustment screw.  The rollers don't jam under pressure and the carbon steel cutting wheel is actually sharp!  The cutter adjusts to fit tubing from 1/8" to 1 1/8" O.D.

Mini Tube Cutter

Next time you are standing on your head in the refrigerator box trying to cut off that tube way back in the corner that is just a little too long, you'll wish you had this.  A serious tool in a very small package, this cutter will cut up to 5/8" diameter tube in a turning radius of only 1 3/16".  The overall length of the cutter is only 2".

1/4" Swaging Tool

A swaging tool is used to expand the end of a tube of one size so that another tube can be soldered to it without the use of a coupling.  One place we frequently encounter the need to do this is when installing Danfoss Compressors.  This is because the tube connections on these compressors are sized for metric tubing and are just a little too small to fit standard 1/4" copper.  Rather than going through all of the trouble to  converting (or build) your system with metric tubing, the easiest thing to do is to lightly tap this swage tool into the compressor tube connectors.  This will expand the tubing just enough to make a perfect fit for standard 1/4" soft copper refrigeration tube.
