Dual Probe Digital Thermometer Kit

Trying to properly tune a refrigeration or air conditioning system without an accurate thermometer is one of the most frustrating experiences a refrigeration technician can have.  For some operations (such as setting the expansion valve superheat or verifying the return gas temperatures) specialized temperature probes MUST be used if the reading is to be at all meaningful.  Simply holding or taping a thermocouple to the tube is not accurate enough.  An even, consistent, repeatable pressure is required. Yellow Jacket has developed a unique instrument package to address these requirements.

This kit comes with a broad-range, highly accurate, dual-input digital thermometer which will accept any standard type K thermocouple.  The kit includes two "clamp-on" probes designed specifically for reading the surface temperature of refrigeration tubing.  Also included are two unmounted thermocouples and a plastic carrying case.  Other features include:

Pocket Analog Thermometer

These low-cost thermometers are surprising accurate and just the thing to make quick temperature spot checks in refrigerator/freezer boxes, air ducts and equipment rooms.  The temperature range is -40 to +160F and the thermometers come calibrated.  The handy pocket clip protects the probe and makes sure the thermometer is always available when you need it.

Remote Probe Analog Thermometer

These gas charged thermometers have been standard equipment for years on commercial refrigerator and freezer cases.  They recessed into a 2" diameter hole (1.5" deep) so that they are flush with the surface once mounted.   The sensing bulb is connected via a 48" capillary tube.  The gauge reads refrigerator and freezer temperatures with a scale of -40 to + 60 degrees F.
