Refrigerant Hose & Fittings
RParts sells only top-of-the-line multi-layer barrier hose and reliable
crimp-on type fittings. Our hose designed for reliable use with all
modern refrigerants and oils including R-134a. Job shops that have
the special crimping tools required can save money by purchasing hose and
fittings separately.
Custom Assemblies -
For those who do not have the tools required to make up their own hoses,
Rparts
assembles custom rubber hoses and fittings to your specifications. We cut the hose
to length and securely crimp on whatever end connectors you need.
The result is a vapor-tight hose that meets all or exceeds all factory
OEM specifications.

RParts refrigerant hose is available in two sizes - #8 and #10. #8 hose has a .40" I.D. and .90" O.D. #10 hose is larger with a .50" I.D. and 1.00" OD. Hose is sold by the foot with a maximum single piece length of 50'. |

The following connectors
are identical to those above except that they include access ports.
Access ports come in two types - 1/4" flare and R-134a "Automotive" style.
In "Automotive" style connectors, a 13mm port is typically used on the
suction (low pressure) side and a 16mm port on the discharge
(high-pressure) side. See additional instructions on the use of
these fittings with the new
Diesel Kiki and Sanden compressors.

"O" Ring to Flare Adapters
| If you are fitting a new automotive style (engine driven) compressor to an older system you may well find that it uses an "O" ring type fitting rather than a flare. As an alternative to buying new hose assemblies, use these adapters to convert the O-ring fitting back to a flare. |
