Thermostatic Expansion Valves
| Offering compact size and
excellent control, the Danfoss "T2" series of thermostatic expansion
valves is considered one of the best ever produced. The
capacity of the valve is determined by the choice of interchangeable
"orifice" which is selected. Use the table below to select the
value which most closely matches your application.
Connections to all Danfoss T2 series valves are 3/8"
male flare inlet x 1/2" male flare outlet. External equalization
port (095-0020 only) is 1/4" male flare.
Note: These valves do not include an orifice.
An orifice is required and must be ordered separately. |

Danfoss Orifice Selection Table
| Use this table to select the correct
orifice for your application. Capacities are listed in "tons" of
refrigeration. One "ton" = 12,000 Btu/hr (3.5kW). Choosing
too large an orifice will make it difficult for the valve to properly
control superheat. Choosing too small an orifice will starve the
evaporator of refrigerant. While the system will still operate,
either too large or too small an orifice will result in loss of
efficiency and performance. |

capillary tubing is precision drawn on the I.D. to hold tolerance
within +/- .001". We carry a wide range of sizes for every
refrigeration, freezer and air conditioning application. This
tubing is suitable as replacement for standard OEM cap tube or in the
design of new equipment.
