" I'm having a problem w/ hard starts after the unit has started a few times.The condenser cooling fan is connected to the D and + connections on the Danfoss Module on a BD35. The fan runs just fine when the compressor runs. I put a LED on the D and + pins to diagnose the problem but the LED didn't light let alone blink. I then put a voltmeter on the pins and got sporadic readings from .04 to 1.2 volts.If the module is bad, how come the fan runs OK?Steve"

"Steve,The fan should be connected to the F and small + connections. The diode goes to the D and small + connections. The diode is polarized, the positive lead must go to the + connection.Try reversing the diode to see if it will flash during the non-starts.Forum Tech"
