101N0290 error light always on

I have a freezer running a Danfoss DB80 with the 101N0290 control board. The system has run fine for about 8 months then shut down. The error light is on constantly (not flashing). When I shut off the power, the light goes into a 1 flash error (low power) until the supply bleeds off. When the system is turned back on the error light returns to constantly on. There is no "bump" or other sign that the compressor is trying to start. Is this some kind of undocumented error or a short in the system?
